The Kansas Geological Survey (KGS) GIS Services Section’s Cartographic Services unit is hiring a Senior Cartographic Services Specialist. This position will work with the Cartographic Services Manager in directing activities and performing tasks related to all aspects of the unit’s data creation and map production. Cartographic Services’ work is focused on, though not limited to, creating and updating data and creating maps of Kansas geology from field data collected by KGS geologists. Duties of the position include a combination of project management and map and data creation tasks. Salary range is $70K-$75K, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and education.
