This position functions as a geographic information system (GIS) technician within the Municipal Services & Operations (MSO) Department. This includes maintaining a geographic information system (GIS) providing geospatial support for MSO, including creation, maintenance, analysis, and dissemination of geospatial data and associated mapping and informational products.

While the job does require in-office work, much of the job responsibilities include field work, which will involve the use of GPS equipment in construction areas.
