Submit An Announcement to KAM

Posting Policy

The Kansas Association of Mappers is a resource to the Kansas GIS Community and its members, and as such will provide services to the Kansas GIS Community and KAM members. One of these services is to provide job, educational and general Kansas GIS announcements on its website. Any person or organization may submit an announcement via the form below. It is at the discretion of the Board to approve or deny any announcements posted to the KAM website. The KAM Board will not charge for the posting of any announcement.

• Jobs: It is the policy of the Kansas Association of Mappers to post GIS-related employment opportunities on the KAM website. Postings must be legitimate, timely and relevant to Kansas GIS. Job announcements will remain on the KAM website for 30 days, unless otherwise indicated by the poster.
• Educational: It is the policy of the Kansas Association of Mappers to post only educational opportunities that are provided by not-for-profit entities and that are of direct interest to the membership of KAM. For-profit educational opportunities are best advertised through other professional organizations, listservs, blogs, websites and publications. Education announcements will remain on the KAM website for 30 days, unless otherwise indicated by the poster.
• General: It is the policy of the Kansas Association of Mappers to post Kansas GIS-related general announcements on its website. General announcements will remain on the KAM website for 30 days, unless otherwise indicated by the poster.
