The 2023 annual wage data was just released in May so perfect timing! The Kansas Dept of Labor's Labor Market Information Services has a website called KLIC that is chocked full of all sorts of occupational and wage information. The annual wage data dashboard can be found here and the wage map can be found at the bottom of this page (Interactive Occupational Wage Map). There are other dashboards you might find useful on that page too. I am currently working on updating the Occupational Wage map with the updated 2023 info (currently still displays 2022 data). Hoping to get that done before I go on vacation next week. Fingers crossed. Otherwise, it won't be updated until sometime between 6/17 & 6/21. But I think the non-map dashboards are already updated.

For GIS related wages, I recommend looking into the occupational groups for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, Computer and Mathematical Occupations, and Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations. Those have the closest matches. I'd also recommend googling SOC codes for various job titles you are interested in and then comparing that to the occupations/SOC codes in the dashboard. While some occupations do get fairly detailed, GIS-related occupations are a bit vague within the SOC breakdown. For GIS Analyst, it is lumped in with Computer Occupations, All Other (SOC 15-1299).
