Looking to expand your survey knowledge to include bodies of water? We are adding a Professional Land Surveyor / Hydrographer to our team in Kansas City, Kansas. This person will interact with other industry professionals throughout the US. A high-energy leader with a passion for the outdoors and hydrography will thrive in this role!

Overall Function:
This position will provide data collection services on lakes, land and rivers throughout the US along with processing data in an office environment. Some projects are local, most will require travel (Approx. 4-8 days +/- per month.) Must be able to lift 50 pounds and excel in outdoor environments with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities:
- Perform hydrographic, sediment, and UAV surveys on land, lakes and river systems
- Generate bathymetry, sediment volume, dredging, topography, and water volume information
- Process GIS (or CAD) and Sonar data to produce maps
- Partner with the marketing team to lead a demand creation plan, including marketing and promotion, ongoing competitive analysis and market research
- Responsible for the continuous improvement and evolution of our services, including new program development. Monitor and respond to continued quality and trends
- Manage project development and customer service

Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, Surveying or Engineering related field
- ArcGIS with 3D analyst and/or CAD,Hypack a plus
- Highly Motivated and self driven
- UAV Drone flying and technical a plus
- Remote Sensing, LiDAR, Imagery a plus
- Professional Grade GPS data collection
- Basic knowledge of Sonar
- Knowledge of projections and elevation datums
- Client Focused and Professional
- Able to work outside in various conditions and lift 50 lbs
- Willingness to travel 4-8 days +/- per month.

We operate from our office in Kansas City, KS along with several highly trained professional companies located around the country. We provide this service for a variety of client needs including generating bathymetry, sediment volume, dredging, topography, and water volume information.
