The spirit of KAM is rooted in collaboration and community building. With that in mind, the Program Committee sponsors a charity raffle as a fun way for its membership to collectively work together give back to the communities that host our annual conferences.

This year's beneficiary is Lawrence Humane Society's Crisis Pet Retention Program. Currently, this program is distributing about 5,000 pounds of food each month to help pet owners with financial difficulties keep their beloved pets at home.

For every pet food item you donate, you will receive one raffle ticket. Large bags of dry dog or cat food or litter will earn 10 raffle tickets. You can still purchase raffle tickets with cash, check, or credit card. Each entry is $1, or 6 for $5. Tickets will be available for purchase at the registration desk from 8 am on Tuesday through 5 pm on Thursday, the week of conference.

The drawing will be held at 7:30 pm during the Thursday evening social event and the winners must be present to claim their prize.

This year, we'll have two baskets similar to the ones we had last year (a snack basket and a collection of adult beverages).
